Tim Stimpson ended the 2002/3 season as Tigers’ top points scorer, a position he has held for the fourth consecutive year. His 12 points in the home game against Northampton on 30 November 2002 saw him become only the third Tigers player to score over 1500 points for the club. Another record he has claimed is to be the first player to ever have scored over 1000 points in Premiership rugby, he was awarded with a ‘golden boot’ by sponsors Zurich after the game at Sale in September 2002 to mark that achievement.

The 2001/02 season saw Tim become the first player in league history to win five successive league winners medals along with amassing 486 individual points to break Joel Stransky’s Club record.

Tim’s form was rewarded with a place on the England tour to Canada and the USA in the summer of 2001 but was injured and had to wait until the summer of 2002 for his next cap, on the wing in the test against Argentina.

Tim, who has a degree in Anthropology, is never afraid to try new things. His open-mindedness makes him both a good speaker and a good listener.Tim now runs his own company. He is available for Corporate functions and Sporting Dinners.
