Terry OConnor was born on 13 October, 1972, was an English former rugby league footballer. His position was prop-forward.

A native of Widnes, OConnor was picked up by Salford. He joined Wigan in 1994.

OConnor joined his hometown club Widnes at the end of the 2004 season. He failed to save the Widnes Vikings from relegation in 2005, but played another year with Widnes in NL1. After a season playing with his good friend Barrie McDermott he finally retired in 2006.

Terry was a Great Britain international with 14 caps. Terry also played for England. Terry went on to represent Ireland at the 2000 Rugby League World Cup and has captained the Irish on numerous occasion. Terry has also represented Lancashire in the Origin Series.

Terry now works on a number of community based initiatives and also for Sky Sports.
