Steve Daley
Steve Daley was born in Barnsley on Wed 15 April 1953. Steve played football
for Man City, Wolves and was capped at full International for England. He signed professional terms with Wolves back in 1971. Steve is now a very competent and funny after dinner speaker.
In 1978 Steve was transferred for £1,437,500 to Man City, a record and the first player to command more than a million pounds. After spending just a year at Maine Road with Man City, he crossed The Atlantic and played in The NASL for Seattle Sounders.
He later returned for a spell back in England playing for Burnley, followed by a spell at his final club Walsall.
Steve is reported to have been one of the 10 biggest wastes of money within football.
Steve although has his own business, is very busy on the after dinner circuit and after some 7 years experience, is proving a very competent and a very successful after dinner speaker.
