Frank Worthington
Frank Worthington was born on 23 Nov 1948 in Halifax, Yorkshire. Frank played more than 750 games during an illustrious career, which included spells at such clubs as: Birmingham Huddersfield, Leeds, Leicester, Southampton and he also represented England on 8 occasions. Frank also tried his luck across the Atlantic, playing for Tampa Bay Rowdies in The States.
Frank was not only a hit on the field but also “off the field” !!! Frank has many a story and funny anecdote to share with you from his time in the professional game. He is a very popular figure to date on the After Dinner circuit.
