Bob Taylor
Bob Taylor was born on 17 July 1941 in Stoke on Trent.
Bob represented Derbyshire and England. He won 57 test caps for England and scored over 1000 runs for England and as a keeper, took 167 catches and 7 stumpings. Bobs career began back in 1960 and finished in 1988.
During his illustrious career he amassed a total of more than 12,000 runs and took more than 1600 catches and stumpings behind the “stumps”.
He also played more than 600 first class games. Bob was also voted cricketer of the year in 1977.
